Really glad I found this app. Wide selection and easy to use. Enjoy hearing books of all kinds.

I have had this ap for some time . Just decided to give it a try . I was very much surprised how many great books they have for me to listen to. I have told my friends about it. They agree with me Please keep those great books coming . I love to read but it is also very relaxing to listen to someone else reading them to me Thanks for such a great app

I can say this is a really good use for an iPad. Why play stupid games when you can be entertained and learn something at the same time , its a win win thing .

Very very helpful

I cant believe what good literature is available. I did not notice all of the older titles the first time I perused this app. Classics I have wanted to read but just havent. So now I can listen to them as my eyesight is not what it used to be. The variety of genres is overwhelming. Just a warning though, this app will make you want to curl up with your favorite blanket and hot cup of tea and listen all the time and get nothing done. A dangerous app indeed. :-)

This is such a phenomenal gift to mankind, the material is obviously some of the classics thru out time and they are read Very well by a group of volunteers(everyday citizens) who bring to life these extremely informative and important works!!! I love listening it is endlessly fascinating!!! Enjoy!!!

I absolutely love this app I have never had any problem with it There are so many audio books to choose from And being my eyesight isnt that great I enjoy listening. And at night I can turn out the lights and still be entertained without having to strain my eyes! I couldnt say enough positive things about it!

The very best audio books app. So many titles! Lot of them free!!! I love it. My commute just got upgraded. :)

Wonderful stories wish there were more

I love books but every year it seems I have less time to sit and read. Audio books are a great alternative. I can be doing something dull and my mind becomes totally involved with the story. I have an amazon books subscription, I have an audible books subscription. I have up to date library cards to the local and the nearby university libraries. Yet this is how I do most of my book "reading". The app does everything my audible app does. Some of the librivox volunteer readers are as good or better than the professionals at audible. And audible has a few clunkers as does librivox! The small change you spend here will get you access to a great library. Just.... GET IT!!!

Catalog is freezing on the LibriVox section making the search for titles very difficult. Before the update I had given the app five stars.

Love the app and its simplicity but this last update removed all my books. Cant say Im excited to go back and find them (and the right versions of them) all over again.

Beautiful update ! The sleek new presentation feels like a completely new app. Visually appealing and easy to navigate. Kudos to the developers. Still keeping my previous review comments: "Why pay to listen to books when thousands of FREE classics are available in one app? I enjoy using this app every day. Wide selection and mostly good readers. So many ways to make a selection - by topic, author, date of release, genre, or reader. A must-have for everyone who likes a "good read"."

Theres some issue with the updated app where it plays my music at the same time as the recorded book. Not sure what the problem is. I still love the app though. Update: unusable due to search problems. Interface too complicated. Deleting.

I have trouble retaining what I read. The recorded books gives me back the joy of books! Thanks!

I listen to old Sci-fi classics while walking my dog. I enjoy not only the company of my dog(a beagle), but the ideas of Alan Nourse, Lester del Rey, Robert Bloch, and Mack Reynolds to name a few. I enjoyed reading them a half century ago. Little did I know, then, I would enjoy them again via different media. Life is strange. BTW, early stories by Philip K. Dick are available. Dick was a prophet for my generation. What he wrote has pretty much come to pass. Baby Boomers, Generation-X, and Millennials alike will enjoy this app. It is stable, solid and easy to use.
