if you love the classics, this is the app for you.

I dont know how I would get through a day without it. Wonderful for household jobs that occupy your hands but not your brain; the time just flies by. Ive also enjoyed hearing lots of works Ive wanted to read all my life but never could find sit-down time for. All the readers do a conscientious job, though the talent level does vary; some are really excellent for non-professionals.

You might as well download audibles free app and buy the books on there. This leads you on to believe that you buy the app and get free books, but no. I buy this app and what do you know? $23.00 for his book, and $11.69 for this one. I am so mad at myself, and you will be better off with Audible. I promise. Learn from my mistake stranger, I am attempting to save you.

I love this app. I suffer from migraines and it prevents me from reading. But this app has unique, entertaining stories from a huge variety of authors on podiobooks.com. And you can donate money to the authors. And librobix and they have added the old time radio shows. Ive always been happy with the app.

Great resource of classic reading when I dont have time to sit down. Literally doubled if not tripled my reading when u can listen to classic books and poetry. Thanks for the contribution and allowing!!

Librivox is a wonderful application and I am so grateful to all the generous people who have given of their time to make it possible. I just finished listening to North and South read so well by Maryann Speigel.

This is by far and away one of my favourite apps! I am an artist and love listening to audiobooks while I paint. The ability to connect to Libravox and all of its free classics puts this app at the top rank in its class and Ive been happy to introduce it to my family and friends through a variety of social media! I should very much like to encourage the developers to create their app for all platforms including the Kindle Fire tablets!

Thanks for the outstanding resource library of fiction and non-fiction. The fact that Im able to listen to so many wonderful writings is a blessing. I drive a lot with my work, and I greatly enjoy the writings of GK Chesterton and others from his era.

I have found this application to be of high quality, easy to use, providing access to a myriad of free titles on libravoxas well as access to those available to purchase. I appreciate having both options without paying a monthly premium. It gives the freedom of choice. I like access to LibriVox and Old Time Radio Classics plus other dramatic readings. I highly recommend Audiobooks for audiobook listeners.

I absolutely love to listen to these books! I have it on as I cook, iron or do many other things that dont demand a lot of grey matter use, so time goes by very pleasantly while things get done around the house.

Inkstone Mobile has stepped up their game with their new app, Audiobooks HQ. An early December release, coupled with free audiobooks from Globe Radio Repertory and LibriVox means that I can find classics like Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol with enough time to listen to them before the season passes. The interface is stark and beautiful on the iPhone 5, and a pleasure to use. Well worth the price.
